What We Do
The Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago promotes interfaith understanding and respect among the religious communities of our region. The Council is a place for religious leaders to establish and maintain relations with each other and to discuss and decide matters of interfaith and public concern.
The Council provides interfaith experiences and resources for the general public. It speaks out when religious communities are subjected to discrimination, desecration, or attack.
The Council serves as the interfaith representative for public efforts and institutions. It also is an interfaith leader in addressing issues of public concern in our community.
