Celebrating 40 Years
In 1984, Joseph Cardinal Bernardin invited a small group of local religious leaders to discuss how to bring the moral voice of the interreligious community to bear upon the challenges and opportunities facing Chicago and our region. Thus began the Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago.
For four decades, CRLMC has addressed issues of public concern, promoted interfaith understanding and respect, supported local faith communities, and worked to serve the broader community. |
