Ms. Paloma Cabetas
Paloma Cabetas was born in Madrid, Spain. She holds a B.A. in Classical Studies from the “Universidad Complutense de Madrid,” followed by a two-year course of social, theological and philosophical studies at the “Istituto Mystici Corporis” of the Focolare Movement near Florence, Italy, and Montet, Switzerland.
She moved to the United States in 1988. From 1989 to 2006 she was administrative assistant and personal assistant to four Apostolic Nuncios at the Apostolic Nunciature (Embassy of the Holy See) in Washington, D.C.
She is currently the Midwest Co-Director of the Focolare Movement, an international Catholic association especially dedicated to Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue.
Besides English and her native Spanish, she is fluent in Italian and French.
